4. Main Features
4.1 Wind speed and wind direction measurement
Ultrasonic anemometer takes four ultrasonic sensors in the two-dimensional plane to send and receive ultrasonic signals; it is an instrument using the difference of the ultrasonic spread time in the air to measure wind speed and wind direction.
4.2 Acoustic temperature measurement
Ultrasonic anemometer calculates the wind speed according to the difference of the sound spread time in the air; then calculates the temperature according to the physical relationship between temperature and sound speed.
4.3 Automatic Heating Function (removes snow and ice )
There's an automatically heating device being installed in the anemometer to ensure the instrument work well in serious cold environment.
